Every time someone says "Rate my poem!" everyone says 10 even though all the poetry on this site sucks, are they just being nice, or don't they know what poetry is?

They're just being nice. People on here aren't poets; they're just plain shitty writers.

there are maximum of diff't procedures of publishing at present, that would desire to no longer be a prob and persons DO examine poetry this is a fact in basic terms "yet" there would be the readership: 2 or 2 hundred people 2 thousand would be a small miracle miracles take place

Anyone who really appreciates poetry doesn't bother reading the questions that say "Rate my poem." We already know it's going to be awful.

ya have to consider there are a lot of kids on here. what's good to a 13 year old may not be the same to the older person. just a word of advice: pass rating them or just say they're nice. if you give constructive criticism they cry or report ya.

Perhaps they merely feel sorry and give you pity points. Maybe you're really good! I haven't read your poems yet myself; isn't there another section here for more literary types?

they may not have an educated view of it. but they can still have their own opinion. I don't bother reading the stuff cause I too think it's all trash.

um ask someone if they know what prose writing is if so mabye they like poetry
