There are so manny models out there. But the one that I use is a retractable one. It comes with a ear bud, attached mic, retractable unit, and two pin-plugs -- one for audio, and one for microphone. As I travel with my laptop and I use Skype a lot, so it is very handy and esay to keep in a laptop pouch. It costs about $6. Cheap but usable.

yuo can use the mic from a desktop comp with ur laptop, same price as a desktop mic

Same as they are for desktops.
Go out and get whatever you like and can afford, they all connect the same way.
