I've always wanted an mp3 player. I just don't know which kind to get.
I don't want to spend to much money on it. Preferably lower than $200. I want one that has good reliability and can play a lot of songs.

Get the iPod nano. You can get one for $150 or for $200. It depends on how many songs you want to listen to.

Don't Buy An Ipod They Stuff Up All The Time Go For a Creative

A 2 GB Holds 1500 Songs A 4 GB Will Hold About 3000 Songs
Or There Is A 30 GB But it Is Fairly Big Won't Fit In Your Pocket
It Should Hold About 5000 Songs.
