the question makes a good point about those folk.
As for the question, they really love America. the problem is that they don't know squat about the ideals the nation was founded on or it's laws.
somebody a little bit back took sections of the US constitution and declaration of independence around as a petition. the vast majority of people rejected it as too liberal.
Liberals protect the constitution. conservatives often attack it. who's the American?

They don't hate America, The majority of republicans are mearly misguided, and that small minority that calls the shots is influenced by money, not hatred.
