First, congrats on your baby!

I think about 9 months - even though I had lost my weight - my body was "different''.
Nursing helped, but I had to eat enough calories so it was slow going on the weight loss.

Don't be discouraged - you will lose it. I know we see all the celebrities who "walk out of the hospital in their skinny jeans" practically -
but they have nannies who watch their children while they spend hours working on their bods and chefs keeping their calories where they need to be.

For the first 18 months, my belly was like a bowl of jello, then it took another 5 years for my body to get back to looking "tight" again! It's 30 years later & that belly is coming back & I now officially have given up. That's the way the cookie crumbles. Not all women are alike & not all babies are the same. Be patient & know that your baby will NEVER care what your stomach looks like! They just want to feel loved & cared for. Be proud of that belly...it's a badge of honor that is just a part of having a baby.

Just give it some time because it will take your body time to get itself back into the shape it was before you had you baby. So I wouldn't worry to much. But it can take anywhere from 3months to no more than 4-6months it all depends on your body.

But congrats on your new baby
