without holding to a system of morals and ethics, a person can never strive to bring about social justice. one can't be forced into working toward social injustice. the need to achieve justice is taught by significant persons/people modeling this behavior.

This is a very difficult question. Let me think here....Could social justice be different by cultures, time (like in 1600 vs. 2007) and your status (like if you are a king or servant, or rich or poor)? And I think morals and ethics are built upon these social environments.
My opinion of social justice or injustice? Mmmm, nothing is perfect. How things were 100 years ago, are much improved as far as women's voting rights, and racial issues, etc. Although it's not perfect.
Does this help?

There is not such a thing like SOCIAL justice or injustice for the definition of justice is:
The actions the group takes when an individual or group fails in keeping his/their Ethics in.

If you are talking about what would be fair or unfair regarding unfavoured people or groups, it is not called justice. You should look for the right term. There must be one.
The langages are already to adulterated for us to keep calling things the wrong name; there are too much illiteracy contributing for that already.
