There were many Japanese generals in World War Two.I think you are referring to the General who was the Prime Minister of Japan for most of the war, Hideki Tojo.

In October 1941 he became premier and took the portfolios of war, education, and commerce and industry. Tojo was a virtual dictator from the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec 7, 1941, until his resignation from the government on July 19, 1944, as a result of the American victory at Saipan on July 9.
Japan surrendered on Sept. 2, 1945, and nine days later Tojo attempted suicide. Condemned by the International Military Tribunal for crimes against humanity, he was hanged in Tokyo on Dec. 23, 1948

Pauline-Yamamoto was an admiral, not a general.

Hideki Tojo was a general, but not in the field during WWII. He was Prime Minister until 1944 when he resigned. Again, which general in which battle do you want?

Let's see, there was the Tiger of Malaysia, Lt. Gen. Yamashita Tomoyuki. Over in Burma there was Lt. Gen. Shunji Aida. There was Lt. Gen. Heisuke Abe who worked in New Guinea. Of course there was Hatazo Adachi in the same area, but he was a nasty guy, so if you are looking for the best, it wasn't him. Lt. Gen. Koichi Abe was over Manchuria at the end of the war.

I know that is just from the A's mostly (Tomoyuki excepted, but he was interesting), but I think I gave you more than your 2 points worth.

The allieds did no longer even understand the exent of it for the duration of the conflict.. there is not any way they knew each thing. no longer even the conflict crimes tribunals found out each thing.. purely the truly terrible stuff. I truly consider gaining wisdom of related to the previous and not repeating it. i'd prefer to get a jap historic previous e book and consider up on their element of the conflict. yet permit's be easy..... the allieds weren't precisely loose from guilt the two... each government shamefully censors what they think of their people do no longer prefer to appreciate.. The conspiracy theories abound and public opinion is the final weapon of all of them.
