Incredible. I'll assume you mean between domains? (plural) Mostly it's a geographical thing. .co.uk is britain, .es is spain, etc...

website - a collection of pages of information published on the internet (know as extranet). Sometimes published on an intranet - a group of local computers such as are found within an organisation for internal consuption only.

domain - a logical group of computers whose logon and security is under the control of one server. Think of feudal system and kingdom. To complicate things there are now groups of servers in trees and forests - I keep looking in our local woodland but have yet to find any :)

domain name - a means of finding websites on the internet. The domain name is mapped to an ip address. Things on the internet are addressed by a series of numbers known as an ip address. We use domain names such as yahoo.com because they are easier to remember (for us humans) that numbers xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx subnet yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy
