oh my god, ok, i was looking up pictures of garrett hedlund, who is by the way, one of my greatest heroes, and i clicked on this site that said it was a hedlund fansite and all these explicit images came up, and oh my god i need to erase any evidence i saw them because if my parents find out they'll think i'm a bad kid, and i didn't want to see them i covered my eyes, and now i'm crying...i didn't want to see that. immediately this thing popped up telling me that all evidence could be erased but my computer won't compute with the program is there something else i can use, other than deleting the link from my history on the toolbar. I NEED HELP,DEAR GOD I NEED HELP.

Delete your cache and your history.

Go to tools, internet options and under the general tab.

Click on "Delete Files" and also set your history to 0 and click on "Clear History"

You should be all sweet now.

Go and delete them from your temp files, are you using Internet Explorer? Right click on the icon on your desktop or in your start menu right click and go to properties and make sure you are in the general tab and in the middle of the board you will see delete cookies and delete files click on both and delete them! It's ok to delete both you won't heart the computer. You can click on settings and then view files and if the board is clean ( Empty) you got rid of all the temp files and cookies and your parents won't know where you have been on the web site and they will still think you are a good kid! Take care!

click tools up top, and then internet options. A box will then appear and you should click delete cookies and clear history (if you are using internet explorer). If you are using netscape click tools up above and then options, and then privacy and then clear all. If you are using mozzilla firefox, simply open the browser and hit control and shift and delete at the same time.

two things. Number one get the free cleaner at http://www.ccleaner.com

this is free and will clean your computer of all of its personal history in one shot. just run it and click all the boxes on the left. then clean.

Second: if you did this search in google search... goto http://www.google.com and look at the top right edge of the screen. If you see it say either [classic home] or [personalised home] then make sure you goto [personalised home]. If you dont see it then you are ok.

once at personalised home, see if you see [search history] up there. if you do then it is recorded there too. go there and erase it. if you dont see it... then the search was not being recorded. This all just depends on if someone in your house has personalized search turned on at the time you did this or not. If you dont see any of this then its not on.

Just erase your search history. If your computer doesn't have a virus on it, your parents will most likely not find out unless you tell them.

do a search for temporary internet files and delete them all. Then do a search for the cookie folder and open that up and delete everything in there as well. It will not let you delete the index.dat file so don't worry about that.
