Answering your last question first, the framed gazette article was one of the items that was being given out by Audrey, the new editor in chief of the gazette. Between February January 25th and February 8th (those dates are according to the Gazette) Audrey was giving out free prizes to millsberry citizens who encountered her downtown. You can read about the giveaway here http://www.millsberry.com/town_hall/historical_society.phtml?v=headlines&date=20060125 and http://www.millsberry.com/town_hall/historical_society.phtml?v=headlines&date=20060201

Audrey gave out 5 items in total - a press hat, a gazette pen, a reporter's notebook, a framed gazette article, and a voice recorder. Of all the items she gave away the gazette article and voice recorder were given with far less frequency than the other items, thus making them much more costly when purchased in a Yard Sale.

As for the kimono, it cannot be purchased. It is one of the items that can be dug up in the colehurst tunnels. Here are my best tips on digging in the tunnels. I don't guarantee they will get you a kimono but it should help you overall with digging. I'm also including my best health raising tips at the end because good health is essential to successful digging.

To dig you need a few things in advance:
1. A shovel. Personally I recommend the colehurst shovel because it takes the least health when you dig. But if you can't find one of those in the classifieds then I recommend the heavy duty shovel from the hardware store http://www.millsberry.com/shop.phtml?shop_id=8&sortby=126&p=2 It takes the 2nd least amount of health per dig. The regular shovel takes the most health when you di.
2. A high level of health. To raise your health I recommend the diet that I listed at the bottom of this answer (I login every day but using this diet my people need to eat only every 3rd day)
3. A high level of intelligence. This gives you 'hints' when you dig about good digging locations.

Once you have those two things you can go digging. On the main millsberry.com page below where your mail messages are listed you will see a 'dig for treasure' link. Click on it and it will take you to the colehurst tunnels http://www.millsberry.com/colhurst/ Click on the woman at the register and it will take you to the room where you can purchase an admission ticket http://www.millsberry.com/colhurst/index.phtml?action=gifts Buy the ticket and then click on the entrance to the tunnels.

Once you are in the tunnels only dig where it gives you the message "Hint: This looks like a good place to dig". If you dig once at a hint hole and you get a prize on the first dig and you don't see the message again press the F5 key to refresh the screen. If the hint does not re-appear refresh a few more times. If after a few more refreshes it does not appear again then move on to another hole - it's not likely you will find anything more in the hole in which you just dug.

There are 4 different levels in the tunnel and there are different prizes for each level. The following is a breakdown of which items can be found on each level:

1st level
Ancient rock painting
Antique lockbox key
Antique soda bottle
Anvil
Horse stirrup
Kerosene lantern

2nd level
Antique portrait
Dinosaur skull
Faberge egg
Golden Laurel Crown
Horned helmet
Native American drum
Sundial

3rd level
Baby papoose
Bamboo flute
Boomerang
Ceremonial mask
Colhurst portrait
Golden serpent
Greek lyre
Hero’s engine
Porcelain doll

4th level
Antique lockbox
Catapult
Colhurst’s Shovel
Egyptian sarcophagus
Kimono
Pacific island monolith
Totem pole

To raise your health you have to feed your person a healthy diet consisting of all 5 food groups every day. The 5 groups on Mills are protein, grain, dairy, vegetable and fruit.

I use two different diets to keep up my health and my health on all my accounts is at 100%.

Diet #1:
If your hunger level is grumbly or 'lower' eat the following:
1. Fruit Salad
2. Green Salad
3. Cheeseburger

If you are still not 'completely full' after eating those three items try adding another salad or fruit salad.

Diet #2:
If your hunger level is comfortably full or higher.
1. Lasagna (found on page 2 of the deli section of the grocery store)
2. Fruit Salad

Then if I'm still not "completely full" I supplement with the cereal from Chip's Grabbing machine.

You can also groom to raise your health 1 point per day. Put one of the toiletry items in your house (i.e. a hairbrush) and click on it. On the menu that pops up in the lower left hand corner you will see a 'groom' option. Click that and it will pop up a window that says grooming contributes to good health and it will raise your health 1 point. It can be done only once per day.

If you eat this diet every day you should see your health rise. It will rise more quickly if it is low (in the 20s for example) than it does when it is high (in the 80s for example) but it will eventually reach 100%.

I've done some testing on the idea that drinking water or changing your clothing raises your health level, but I've found that it has no impact whatsoever.

Millsberry is a site where you create a person and a house, play games, and much more. But there may be more than one Millsberry.

nicely, Millsberry would not have many cheats. yet you may win loose cereal via enjoying cinnamon toast crunch sport, and goto the claw gadget to win a chip the wolf doll or cookie crisp cereal.
