After much deliberation and mulling over I decided to post this question. Which U2 song is better, "With or Without you or Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For?" It comes down to these two songs because the others are great but not in the same level of these masterpieces. And just to note on a show about the best songs from the 80's With or Without You was voted a better song.

"With Or Without You" eerily began playing during my divorce from my much loved, husband. This song haunts me to this very day, I cannot resist it's haunting tunes, nor can I turn the channel when it comes on. I love him to this very day, 20 something years after the fact.

To me you're an anomaly. How could anyone consider U2 entertainment. Is there anything more boring than a U2 song? God!

While I disagree that these are the two best U2 songs ("One" is the best song, imho), I would vote "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" as the better of the two.

I have to tell you that those two are not my favorites. I say "Mysterious Ways" and/or "Love Rescue Me."
"Mysterious Ways" is classic U2. Totally rockin' and just plain awesome.
"Love Rescue Me" makes me weep. Bono sounds so desperate, it's beautiful.
Honorable Mentions go to:
"Where the Streets Have No Name". Classic
"Unchained Melody" - no one has ever given that much meaning to a song. Bono's raspy, desperately sad and loving voice just tears my heart apart.
"Beautiful Day" - effin' rockin' song to make a comback with.
But to answer your question? I like "With or Without You" a little bit better than "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For."

"Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" is the best U2 song....
if not, then i will have to say "The Saints Are Coming" feat. Green Day.

Of the two I like Where the Streets have no name best! my all time favorite U2 song is though has to be Running to stand still. this song is so beautiful but extremely underplayed.

before I read your entire question, my thoughts were, well they have a lot of great songs but none can really compare to the level that "Still haven't found what I'm looking for is on."
