Do You Like The Name Jackson Carter?

Personally I'd switch them around a bit to be Lella Rose. Mackenzie is getting to be too common of a name for my tastes (and believe me, coming from someone with one of the least unique names around, you don't want your kid to have the same name as half the girls in her grade) and that name still has a nice ring to it.

And Jackson Carter reminds me of some sort of historical figure that you'd see a statue made for. Perhaps from the Revolutionary War period. Some guy on a horse immortalized in marble, concrete, or whatever people make statues out of nowadays. I don't know if that's the image you want...

Go for Mackenzie Rose "Kenzie"
all the way

Don't like Jackson Carter much.

Explanation:
Leila might be difficult for people to pronounce correctly (she'll have to spell it all the time/people think it's fanciful/silly/or kind of a full-of-yourself name like Delilah or Lola), but the name is very pretty to the ear.

I like the sound of Mackenzie Rose better. HOWEVER, Mackenzie has become an EXTREMELY "trendy" name in recent years. More and more, I see and/or hear of little girls with this name. Do you really want your daughter to be one of 3 Mackenzies in every class she's in during her school years? Don't get me wrong -- I think Mackenzie is a fine name. :) I just kind of stop wanting to use a name anymore, once it becomes TOO trendy/popular.

Jackson Carter is a good name. :) It sounds very strong, and masculine, so I hope the name is going to be for a boy, and not a girl! Jackson Carter just screams BOY; nothing at all feminine about it.
