Senior Prom Question?

Question

I am a senior in high school (female) and i am taking a junior boy to prom. Should i pay for him?
Should he pay for some? if so what?

Does he pay for himself entirely??

I think the best thing to do is that person who does the asking pay all (or at least be willing to do so). So if you were the one to ask him, be willing to pay for all. But if he wants to pay for some, I think it would be gracious to let him pay a bit, too. If he did the asking, have your money on hand, but let him pay.

If you're asking him, then it would make sense for you to pay. He should realize that he should buy the flowers, and maybe pay for the transportation to and from the prom, and what ever you decide to do after the prom, but as far as the bids are concerned, if you ask, then you should buy them.

Well if he asked you then he should pay. If you asked him you should talk it out with him. The best way to solve that problem is if you asked him, buy his ticket and see if he will help you pay for transportation/pics/food/ and any other expense you may have. If he asked he should pay.

I believe that if you ask for a date, then you should be able to pay at least the base costs, such as his ticket to get in. If you're splurging on a limo etc, then ask if he is able to go halves with you.

he is your guest .as you invited him, so you buy the tickets . he would be polite to offer to pay some of the expense for the limo and dinner and to bring you flowers. you need to talk it over with him and plan according to what you can both afford ; you get him a lapel flower
