I'm happy with what I have. Its because we were really, really poor when I was growing up, so I appreciate everything that I do have. I'm not very materialistic and I'm very frugal and a saver.

You need an inner peace that separates you from this world to be "perfectly" content, this peace is not from this world.

This world does not want you to be content, at best only in an artificial sense, not based on reality but circumstances, and when you "really are content for any length of time you are attacked by discontent "in a big way" then the struggle and "choice" to get back to contentment through faith, to the only true peace that surpasses all understanding.

Most people are not thankful for the blessings they receive. They will never be content if they don't appreciate what they possess in life.
Material wealth is not real happiness.

I am happy with what I have, but when I head over to my mom's house (which is nicer than mine) she complains about everything. She won't be happy until she's living in the White House.
