LuckyChucky is probably right, but I'm intrigued by the ability to run for 15 minutes. What if there is a problem with your vapor recovery system on your fuel tank? It could be not venting properly, and you are creating a vacuum that eventually your pump can't compete with.

It would be easy and painless to check this theory... Loosen or remove the gas cap. If your car doesn't quit at the 15 minute mark, you've got an issue with your vapor recovery system and/or gas cap vent.

If it behaves just the same, do the fuel filter as LuckyChucky suggested.

Try the cheap stuff first: run some gas treatment through the lines (something friendly to fuel injectors), cost: $2 US.

Next, try replacing the fuel filter. If you haven't done this in awhile (or ever), that might be your first choice, cost: $2 to 5 US.
