Potential...that's what it comes down to.Right now Kobe is the best basketball player in the NBA.His whole game is more complete and more fundamentally sound then anyone.Add in his love for the game and his age(28)he still has a seven year window to play at the top of his game.
Now with lebron, he is only 21 and his game is all ready close to bieng complete.If he puts in work , he can become the best ever!..if not then he's Dominique Wilkins part 2(highlight film waiting to happen)that's it.

I think that Kobe has a little bit more experience and might be a better player, but give the Cavs another year or two and they'll be winning championships too. It takes an entire team to be good... one person can't win championships, as shown last year with the Cavs. They're a young team, but they're growing. LBJ will always have my heart though!

Kobe.
In this game was an example how he was better. He mad more points, more rebounds, more assists, basically more everything. He makes critical shots. He has lead his team to the championships many times. He doesn't hog the ball anymore and integrates his teammates more. He is a better player, and he is always improving. Lebron isn't playing with the same energy he had last year and can't hit a free throw to save his life.

L. James is better than kobe. I'll pick any player of the nba instead of kobe. I dont like kobe bryant. Especially when he plays against the phoenix suns. I wish raja would have punched him last year in the playoffs. Face it kobe has a little attitude.

Kobe is better at this point. King James has not taking over enough games and/or excelled in the playoffs.
Thought James is younger, no one can make more shots double-teamed thank Kobe.

Kobe is better but his team mates aren't really scorers and unfortunately he gets most of the blame if they lose it's like a no win situation when your getting called a ball hog for less points then James did last year just because people are hateful.

kobe bryant is a much better overall player he can dunk and drive just as well as lebron plus he can create a shot much better. Most importantly kobe has two sides he can score if his team needs him too or he can be a excellent passer. Not to metion kobe can play lockdown D

Kobe he has 3 rings and he has done better at the Line,we can see Lebron can't hit a foul shot a good player needs to make them.But we can't blame Lebron he needs more years so he could get experince and get rings.

i really think that Kobe is better! he has really matured as of late and makes all his team mates way better but when he's needed he takes over and is pretty good at it! the king is really good but he is not as consistent as the mamba, and needs a bit more experience.
