Whenever I play guitar, especially during a power ballad I really get off on the vibrations, and just the whole mood of being on stage. Is this very strange or has anyone else experienced this?

The guitar is a very sensual instrument, and when played with great emotion, the result for the player as well as the audience can be almost erotic. Just look at Prince. He is an exceptional musician and I think he's psychologically speaking anyway, almost constantly masturbating. Is it any wonder that guys who play guitar always get girls? No, I don't think so. That's why I learned how to play.

I think it is just a major adrenaline rush. I feel the same way when I get really into my drums. It is a major happy feeling
