Is there a such thing as a washer machine that can be hooked up to the kitchen faucet like a portable dishwasher?I moved a few days ago into an apartment complex with no washer and dryer hookups and it really sucks. The machines(the ones that work)are always left with clothes in them and I have to wait till the next day to do my laundry. There has to be a better way,can someone help me out with this?

those machines are available at many of the locations and stores others have mentioned above. But there are several problems: 1. storage space - many of the machines are pretty big and you sometimes need to wield them around the room. They don't often fit well into your kitchen area. 2. If hot water is limited at your apartment complex, you may run out of water and not be able to take a shower. Or you'll have to wash everything in cold water - which is not necessarily a bad thing. It sounds inconvenient, but I would look into where the nearest and best laundromat is. Think about it, with a stack of quarters you can do 4 or 5 washes in one sitting, dry them, fold them and bring them home. During the week, before laundromat day, if you need a special outfit you can always handwash it, roll it in a towel to get rid of excess water and hang it somewhere to dry.

You can just use a regular washing machine and hook it up to the sink. When we had our first apartment, we had a standard size washer and you take the hose the water comes from and attach it to the sink, then turn the water on when you're going to turn on the washer.. The black hose it comes out of in the back needs to be long enough to reach the sink or the tub to drain into. Mine was able to go into the tub b/c it was right next to the kitchen.
It was kind of a pain to always hook up the hoses, but it beat going to the laundromat.

pretty much any washine machine could be hooked up to a kitchen sink (if you have space for the unit and the correct clamps for the hoses). the big problem is with draining the washer into the sink, with all the lint and stuff. the other concern is that you wont have a dryer, and venting a dryer in an apartment unit is a much bigger problem.

maybe so
You can try it out. If it fails then stop doing it. I'm guessing it may or may not.
