im applying to colleges now and some want essays. im having a hard time with the essay cause i dont no wat to write about. can anyone help me. thanx

It's best to write about a personal experience. The essay is your chance to demonstrate not only that you can write clearly and coherently, but that you have experiences that can help you throughout college. Try thinking about a problem you recently had and how you may have weighed the pros and cons, made a decision, how it turned out and what you learned from it. Colleges want to accept level-headed students that can acknowledge and appreciate the many things they've been through. Good luck!

Write about your dreams for the future. What do you hope to accomplish with your education? That should be of interest to them.
