Does anyone know anything about Apple releasing a widescreen iPod?

I know they are releasing the iPhone with an iPod included, but are they going to release the widescreen iPod on its own, without the iPhone? I heard a lot of rumors about it having commercial during the superbowl and that they might be releasing a widescreen Beatles edition iPod, but I don't think they did.

Yes, I've heard the Beatles iPod rumors -- but Apple NEVER lets information out before the official announcement.
