No, I wish Republican and Democrats would quit finger pointing and cut the animosity and actually work together to come up with the best way to give our troops what they need and give them the power to do what they have to do to successfully complete their mission and come home. It's just as much Congress' fault as it is the president's that the war hasn't progressed the way it should have.

The wrong what? Do you mean section? You're fine young lady, the question is interesting. But no, I would not agree with their bickering. What we need to do is to fight the war like a war, and adopt a shoot first policy. Then we need to attack the real threat in the region- Iran- while we fund research and development in regard to renewable energy. When our nation is energy independent, we won't have to worry about dealing with the Middle East. Take a look at Brazil, they have totally converted their vehicles and mass-transit to run on ethanol. The U.S. is still #1 in agriculture and if we get a President who isn't rich because of big oil ( ala Bush) our nation will be freed from the noose that is dependence on Mid-East Oil.

Totally agree. Anyone can see that Bush has got a screw loose and doesnt want to go down as the worst president in history. He just wants to secure Baghdad before he leaves office. The men and women that are fighting are just collateral to him, otherwise he would have pulled out long ago.

Finally, American public opinion has changed after years of blind patriotism to take congress away from the Republicans. The Democratic congress now has a mandate from the people to end the callamity of the Iraq War.

No. I think it's a slap in the face to our troops, and a waste of time. I wish they'd tackle the issue of immigration, and the millions of criminals that continue to invade our country daily. Our open borders are a security threat that everyone keeps ignoring while polls show that 90% of Americans don't want the illegals here, and want our borders secured.

The people, back in November, said they disapproved of Bush's war when they voted the democrats in control of the Senate and House.

I thought that the Senate approved it any way.

Barak Obama is pronouncing on international news programs that he approves and will stand by the decision to send more troops.
