When will the next generation of dell laptops come out?

i mean like better graphics cards on inspiron notebooks

I happen to like Dell and have met "The Man". I suspect in an immediate sense no one will stop the exponential advance of technology, but if I was holding stock in any, I'd like to see how MS Vista plays out as it replaces XP.

If you are looking to for a gaming system, then the inspiron is not the laptop to choose from Dell. I would pick either the XPS or the now Dell subsidiary, Alienware. Inspiron's are not made for gaming, XPS and Alienwares are. But, do not expect good quality or reliability from either one.
