1) Search engines act like indexes in a book, or a filing cabinet, it groups related things together, so it makes information gathering easier.
2) there are really a couple of little known goals or benefits related to researching a question a) it ensures that the answer is in fact correct and up to date. b) it is a learning experience for the researcher. Yahoo may also have a goal in mind in that a researched answer on the web gives advertisers, etc greater access to you>
3) Helping someone vs doing it for them. If they had everyone always do the work, they would not learn and would continue to rely on others to do their work.
4) BOOKS>>>>> and SCHOOL>>>> and experience
5) I don't remember how old I was and I don't think it really matters how old you were when you learned to do it. I think what matters is that you do it now!!!
6) If their is a meaning behind the lyrics. it probably means something different to everyone.

1 it searchs for things, hence the name SEARCH engine
2 getting educated
3 you are asking us to do it FOR you which annoys us. Helping means that you WANT TO DO THE WORK but need someone to guide you. That doesn't annoy people

I got good at reading about age 7. That's when the teacher started putting notes on my report card "Needs to pay attention in class." Come to think of it, that's when I got my glasses, too.

Brilliant Question. Nothing is more annoying than coming on this forum and having high-school kids asking questions that they are too lazy to look up on their own. Good Show.
