Someone told me I have slanted eyes, but I just don't see it. My mother is from the Philippines, so maybe I just recognize my face too much.

What makes a face seem to have Asian characteristics is more than the eyes. It is a mixture of eyebrows, cheek bones, skin color, distance of eyes from each other, etc.
As the Phillipines are/were inhabited by people of many races, including Spain, and China, it should be no surprise that you have some of those characteristics.
When people say that just smile...I think that you have beautiful eyes by the way, and yes....a bit Asian

So what if you have slanted eyes, that's who you are! My dad is Asian , I don't care what my eyes look like, JUST BE GLAD YOU CAN SEE.
