I want to move to san luis obispo, ca I live in los angeles now. I've looked online at most of the typical places craigslist.com, apartments.com other places like that and they don't seem to have much and what they do have I can never seem to find what I'm looking for. any one have any ideas on what to do?

You might as well give up now. So.Cal. has been having a "housing crisis" for decades now. Don't get your hopes you. And in the end you must settle for something that's lower than you expectations. There simply is not enough housing in the Region. If you really want the accommodations that you want you will have to look elsewhere/out of state.

I'm just trying to save you from all the pain and frustriation of not finding exactly what you want out here. Because it's impossible.

Try looking for licensees that concentrate on property management in the San Luis Obispo area and ask them to send you the lists of available rentals; try this link:

have you called a local real estate agent up there and asked what rental agents they suggest? They may have local rental papers or one specific real estate agent that deals with rentals only.
