Ross E. Dunn wrote a good book, The Adventures of Ibn Battuta: A Muslim Traveler of the 14th Century (revised, University of California Press, 2005). James Rumford has a pleasant and light publication Traveling Man: The Journey of Ibn Buttuta, 1325-1354 (Houghton Mifflin, 2001).
