LT was the best..

Kids in high school today never saw LT in his prime. It's easy to say Lewis is better if everything you know about LT you read or heard from someone else. People are making the same mistake about Reggie Bush and legends like Gale Sayers and Barry Sanders. Anyway, LT is the greatest defensive player of all time.

LT, hands down.

last year in my high school i asked the same question, except i asked, Brian Urlacher, Ray Lewis, or Lawrence Taylor, only the people that know football said LT, everyone else said the other 2.

people in High school are too young to know who Lawrence Talyor is, (including me, but i do research).in high school it is filled with alot of people that have their opinion of players THEY watch, not realizing that there was a football before they were born

Ray Lewis is awesome. But LT redefined the LB position. Gotta go with my man, LT. BIG BLUE!

LT LT LT and i'll say it again LT
only those who never saw LT play can say ray lewis
Taylor was the greatest defensive player ever - offenses had to have a stratergy to stop him or he killed ya - the perfect combo of speed and strength -
ray is great but he's no LT

Take away his 700lbs of defensive tackle, and Ray Lewis is more like Nick Barnett. The year he didn't have 2 fat slobs playing in front of him, he disappeared. That's why he begged the Ravens to draft Haloti Ngata, so he wouldn't have to fight off blockers. LT changed the way LB was played.

Umm.... I'm gonna go with LT, unless Ray Lewis pulls the greatest season by any player in the history of the NFL out of his @$$.

What are you asking whos better or whos scarier. The better player was LT. Its a tie for whos scarier Ray Lewis may or may not have stabbed two dudes but LT was always coked out so he could killed ya too

they're both finominal players but id have to disagree with everyone else and say ray lewis. on top of what he does on the field hes a leader and a motivator. He just makes everyone around him better. ed reed, chris mcallister, and everyone else benefit so much from having a player like lewis on their defense. in his prime ray lewis was about as dominant as anyone in NFL history if you ask me. and im not taking anything away from LT when i say this, cuz obviously he was one of the best himself.

Some people at your high school are nuts...LT is the best linebacker ever to play the game...with Reggie White a close second...
