Is Keppler really dead?

Do you think Keppler's really dead? I mean four episodes seem really short for a sub-in. Anyone else think or know if he is or not? If you know for sure by a miracle could you state your source please? I really hope he's alive. He kinda grew on me.

I think he's dead too but I really hope he isn't!

Pretty sure he's gone. The EMT's quit defibbing and trying to bring him back. He'll be on Doc Robbin's table by morning. It was a shame, he had an interesting way about him.
