No, more experience and not using cocaine in the past might help though.

I think that if his name was changed, it would make very little difference in the campaign. Honestly, he seems like a very intelligent and statesmanly gentleman. But he is up against Hillary and she has already tried to link him to radical madrassas, and when the plot was uncovered and it was made clear that he recieved a non-radical education, Clinton pulled back and let her cronies get pinched. With the name and Hillary after him like moths to a flame it is unlikely that even the most liberal democrat will vote for him. Sadly, the Clintons are the most powerful politicians on earth because they are ruthless. Whether it is right or wrong is surely not the issue. The Clintons will not allow this man to get any traction. And if he did, the public would vote against him due to the point you have mentioned.

How about a best answer?

Haters will always find some reason to hate no matter what. If people don't like him now they can focus on his name, despite the fact that he IS NOT MUSLIM! (He was raised Christian and he's a practicing Christian). If it wasn't his name these haters would look down on him for being black. If not for that, they would find something else. Maybe we should think about the real issues, not this superficial crap?!?

I don't think that will be the issue, because the people that would not vote for him for that reason would most likely not vote for him for another reason. Chances are, people that confuse Obama and Osama are already proven racially insensitive, what are the odds of them voting for an African American?

Maybe he would have a better chance if he changed his name... but Hillary is such a crackpot, if he wins the democratic nomonation, then I'll get a fake I.D. to vote for him.

The fact the man holds no credintials to be the president of the United States has nothing to do with his stupid name.

I think he'd be less likely to win - because those who would hate him for having that name would still hate him, as one of the newspapers WOULD report that he changed his name from that, and some of those who wouldn't hate him because of his name wouldn't like him as he was ashamed of his heritage.

I don't care what his name is, as long as it's not Clinton. Seems like a nice guy, with too many odds aganist him. Lets see what he has to say &do.

No.
There are too many republicans in America for a black person to be elected president right now.
Did you know that of all the black members of congress, 100% of them are Democrat?
Republicans won't elect one, single black person to national office.
Isn't that sad?

In a perfect world, a name wouldn't matter.
