Yes. My coach was a minor league baseball player and told me to do this. I was always a good hitter, but after doing this I became one of the best hitters in the area. I had an increase in power and contact. Doing this will help you when you're "torquing" the bat. You want to make sure it is the knuckles in the middle of your fingers, not the ones at the bottom. It felt very awkward at first, but you'll get used to it. Don't worry about twisting your knuckles, it should come naturally. Good luck

All you should do is line up your door-knocker knuckles on both hands to form a straight line while holding the bat. It may feel awkward at first, but it keeps the bat and hands in the best position to strike the ball. Try your best to keep them in that position through the swing. The bat should not be shifting around in your hands as you swing. Its hard enough to hit a baseball without your hands and bat moving around.

No. I played baseball. And there was only 2 girls on there! Anyway, you need to get a firm grip on the bat. Look at the pitcher and when the ball comes hit it! Don't miss! And when you are next to bat, practice. Cuz the pitchers on other teams sre tough! OH! and look down at your feeting. Be lined up with the base. Bad feeting = bad swing! GOOD LUCK =D

It does help. What it does is help you roll the wrist over when you make contact with the ball, giving you a more solid hit with more power.

yeah it does...and i'm not sure why that girl's telling you to look at the pitcher...i'm pretty sure you're trying to hit the ball, not the pitcher.
