Well if your a little older could be age spots
I got my first one (and only one I hope) when I was 40. Mine is small and couple of shades darker than my skin color.
There are creams made for age spots
I use Oil of Olay and ROC many things on the market to try we all have different skin types.

The only why to get rid of them for good is be laser see your Dermatologist

Lots of products claim that they get rid of dark spots, but working is another thing. If you can use a dermatologist, but if not try a cream. If you can get one that has a money back guarantee.
