On average, if you have a larger family, how many loads of laundry do you do? Either per day or per week depending on when you do it. I guess I need to also know how many children you have.

I guess I should mention my stuff lol. I have 6 littles and we do one load of towels each day adn all of our other clothing each day. Sunday is saved for bedding. So on average 2 loads each day. (we have the big washer and dryer though)

I don't have a "large" family, but my washer/dryer get used every day. I just don't like dirty things being around. When there are no clothes or towels for a load, I get to work on sheets or curtains.

As they say: A man may work from sun to sun, but a woman's work is never done!

OMG! I can't stand the laundry! I have tons! I have 4 kids, 1 husband, 3 dogs, 2 hamsters and about 75 fish. (and tons of extra kids always spending the night on weekends. That's always extra laundry with all the blankets! I am literally NEVER done. I give up. I do what I can when I can and that's it. I do not try to get it "done" anymore. When I get close, or am actually on the last load, here it comes again! That's usually when the kdis clean their room, and it is easier for them to throw everything in the laundry than to actually put it away. I don't re do that either. When it is folded in the laundry, it goes right back into the clean pile. I go through two of the 100 ounce bottles a week just doing our regular laundry.

i'd say I do around 3 a lot a week. good now i'm no longer working, yet while i became working, i'd do around 4 a lot a week. the reason in the back of the extra load became that doing production facility paintings and all, one activity became in a salsa production facility and you had to bathe your outfits in the previous donning lower back. The scent became detrimental. when I worked at walmart, i'd desire to frequently smash out with donning the comparable outfits two times(4 hr shifts), except I have been given them grimy simply by fact there became no sweating/stench. My boyfriend wears his paintings outfits two times(frequently) except he gets grimy. i'd have one extra load or 2 a week if I wash sheets/sofa hide/comforter/focused visitor room bedding...etc. So actual i assume I do around 4 a lot a week.(guessing). I do would desire to declare that, 5 to 6 situations an afternoon is plenty to be changing outfits. I do 2 a lot(finished) with blue denims, tshirts, colored undies and bras. Then, I do a load of laundry with whites and towels(brown). Med length or great, in accordance with amt. of laundry. If i've got self assurance it's time to bathe the sheets, then this is yet another load. Then, the sofa hide would take yet another load, yet i do no longer wash that yet each as quickly as and a whilst. Washing doing the smaller a lot is probably costing you some further money. better than that, i'm uncertain how long a time-honored washer and dryer are meant to final working 3 a lot an afternoon. besides the indisputable fact that, i'm doing finished a lot and you're doing smaller ones, so i do no longer understand how plenty extra durable this is on a gadget. maximum of my outfits are around the comparable coloration. they're blue, black, gray, and a few white outfits. So, I wash my tshirts with the blue denims.

We used to have three adults and three kids, and with our old crappy washer and drier, crappy as in it sometimes took 3 hours to dry a load which really slowed things down. My mom and grandma did some during the week and then we'd have 8 or 9 on the weekends to do. Sometimes my mom and I had to go to the laundry mat just so all day wouldn't be spent doing laundry. We got new equipment a couple years ago which made everything easier, and now with only 5 people, and the fact that I do my own laundry, it's a lot easier to manage.

We do about 2 loads less per day than we need to... this leads to a huge pile of stinkies by the end of the week.... we then load the truck and head to the laundromat and do the remaining loads. It is not a pretty sight but we get it done by Monday morning none-the-less...

I have 4 kids so I do it for 6 people including myself. I have to do 2 a day or I will end up really behind. That isn't including doing sheets and blankets every other week. So I would say 14-16 a week. Crazy isn't it?
