I am developing a website for a trading company, can I show their clients' company logos at website's homepage or there is any copyright infringement with that ?

You would need their consent to use anyone's logo anywhere. If they are your clients , they likely will consent after you show how it will be displayed.

You must get permission from the owners of the logo or you risk being fined and being forced to remove the logos. Get the permission in writing and keep it on file. Some of them may charge a fee to use their logo, and of course that fee should be absorbed by the trading company.

Well, that's good. Do one thing you can put your client logs on your "Testimonial Page" with their permission and it would be useful for your business. As you know or not lot of commercial web sites using the same manner. So create one internal page ( Testimonial Page ) then put your client logs along with a small text message. Hope you understand!
