Crossbreeding of cattle is as scientific as crossbreeding of humans. Human crossbreeding is a subject we are loathe to think about, much less practice; yet, humans are readily acceptable to the idea of crossbreeding other animals.

Some of the possible advantages of crossbreeding for a cattle rancher:

1. Bigger/heavier cross-bred offspring: More meat to sell per animal.
2. Better quality meat: less bony, less fat.
3. Stronger animals: To withstand diseases and tough climatic conditions like heat, cold, drought.

You could possibly get better and more leaner cuts of meat, maybe the offspring would me more resistant to certain sickness, maybe they would live longer with better dna.
