I am a first year journalism major and I have to write a paper on bias in the media. I've been searching for hours and just can't seem to find something to write about. I guess I'm just looking in the wrong places... or just not getting it. Can someone point me in the right direction? What topics should I pay particular attention to?

Fox News and a number of other "conservative" news agencies recently ran a story on Barack Obama that was completely false. The story said that Obama attended a radical muslim school. Do a google search on "Barack Obama" and "Madrassa" in the news section. CNN, did some fact checking and debunked the story, I'll include the link to the CNN story.

The history shows that the death toll from religion/sectarian violence is over 100 million and gets higher practically everyday and no one is allowed to talk about it.
