I'm doing research for a term paper. Many of you might have seen Hollywoodland, in it a character named Evan, who is a young boy, loses faith in his hero Superman, and even burns his superman costume in defiance, when you were young, what event caused you to question your heros, or adults in general, what made you realize that adults make mistakes too, and that your heroes weren't perfect. When I say heroes I mean anyone that you looked up to, parents, siblings, teachers, police men, actors,tv characters anyone. What happened that made you lose faith in them when you were little, because more than likely the hero you had then isn't the hero you have now and if it is your parents or some family member there was something that made you realize they were human, it could be a small as seeing them cry for the first time, or them letting you down as hard as superman let Evan Simo down in Hollywood land. Just want to hear your thoughts, thank you for your help.
