getting "blue balls" how bad does it hurt? how long can you wait before you have to "relieve" yourself. and do you really get mad at girls for this?

and if you could please describe the pain to something i would understand that would be great. if not on a scale of 1-10 10 being you just beaten black and blue and 1 being a five year old just hit you.

First of all, its pretty rare, I've gotten it maybe 3 times in my life, and I'm 31.
The worst time, I'd say it was a 7 or 8 out of 10. Bad aching, almost crampy, it was hard to stand straight. It was about 45 minutes before I was able to relieve myself, and the pain dropped to about a 2 after the 'relief'.

Thatgirl, it is like a uncomfortable, daylong ache down there. It comes from being overstimulated but not actually climaxing (ejaculating). It would actually be painful to just go to the bathroom and masterbate or just go and have sex with his partner and ejaculate at that point. Usually the guy waits to have sex until the condition clears up (like the next day).
When in occurs, even sitting down can be uncomfortable. It aches and it is like that whole general genital area is oversensitive.
Men tend to learn to avoid things that lead to this condition.

i honestly didn't think this existed until i met my future wife. we would just make out for hours, and this lasted weeks. after a while my testicles became very sensitive, like they were bruised. and it would only happen after a make out session, and no amount of masturbation did anything about it. I'm not sure if i had blue balls or something else, but once we became intimate, the pain went away.

This is a ploy and it makes me angry. I'm in my 50's and heard this when I was in my teens. It's just another way for a guy to manipulate a girl. If he is in pain, he can take care of it himself. And if he gets mad, he can get over it. Boys think about sex ALL the time and they will grab any girl that is willing...so a teenage girl should never feel special, just used.

I'm sorry, this is such bs. Its not PAINFUL to not have sex. Instead its more of an anxiousness feeling. The way i can describe it is possibly holding ur pee when u have to go, or being constipated. It's just a valve that needs to be released.

It definitely hurts, but that's no reason for you to have to consent to sex. Don't be talked into it on account of "blue balls."
