Yes, I am a girl, but I do not find it offensive when guys refer to girls as "chicks". I mean, we call them "dudes" right? And also, do you think it is socially acceptable for straight women to refer to each other as chicks? This is a random question... Out of curiosity. And boredom.

LMAO. yet yeah... on the full. enable me ask you something, could you be happy with being named after the different gender? could you be happy with letters being addressed "costly madam". that's an argument of disrespect and each thing provides up whether it incredibly is a hundred little issues, all of it provides as much as a minimum of one super slap in the face for women. i do no longer see why you think of you're able to be able to make exciting of the feminist subject concerns merely because of the fact they are minor. while there are hundreds of candy sixteen issues, so minor that human beings easily regard it as typical and could't see what's incorrect with it.. nicely... that's the subject with it. no one suggested that addressing letters "costly sir" each and all the time became a existence shattering factor yet think of roughly it. in specific circumstances that's worse to be degraded in that way extremely than actually getting a slap in the face. a minimum of once you get hit human beings can see a bruise.

I'm sure many of the older women out there would consider it a compliment to be called a chick.

It depends on the context in which it was used and the maturity level of the people you hang out with. A lot of the politically correct crowd would find things like this always offensive.
