That's a good question, I'm not naive or gullible and I'm very well aware that if someone claims to be (for example) a fifteen year old school kid from a broken home or a married mother of three you've only got their word for it.
I pretty much believe what my own on-line friends say about themselves because we're a very friendly (and mad) site and as far as I can tell none of them have any reason to lie.
However I'm very aware that there's a possibility that any of them may not be telling the truth, or at least the whole and complete truth.
For the same reason I never give out more information on myself than a first name (Kate), birthday and vague geographical location (Southern England) on any site.
Finally, I would never believe anything ridiculous, for example if someone claims their abusive father/stepmother/husband/etc keeps them locked in a small cage and tortures them with an electric cattle prod, I'd employ a healthy dose of scepticism.
(I once read in a magazine about some gullible prat who'd fallen for that story and lost a load of money trying to rescue her, in my opinion he deserved everything he got.)

All ppl i meet on the net, and then in life weren't honest at some point.....mainly in 30%.....so I think that the 20% would be unknown...and I believe in the last 50%.

I believe it all.
I'm honest with them so I expect it too.
Call me gullible if you want, but I believe that most people are good and truthful.

I like, believe and trust everyone I meet, until they give me reason to do otherwise, I see no reason why YA should be any different.
