Try Oil of Olay body wash with body ribbons, I used it for about a week and I did not need to use my lotion anymore. It made my skin so soft. Nivea is also a good lotion to use if you have really dry skin like I do in the winter time. When I get out of the shower before I dry off, I like to put baby oil on my body and leave it on for about a min. then dry off it also leaves your skin soft.

Apply body lotion is one thing. Sometime I felt tired of to apply lotion each single day.
So, after I took shower, apply baby oil (Johnson & Johnson) when the body is wet for 2-3 mins, then rinse it. Use towel dry your whole body as you usually do. You don't need put any lotion on, your skin will be very smooth. Just give a try it is really work.

My boyfriend and I regularly steam using our own shower and bathroom. We run hot hot water in the shower until our bathroom is nice and steamy. Then we apply a mixture of lotion ( he calls it "love potion #9 ) and baby oil, which we mix together ourselves. We use cocoa butter lotion. We usually buy the brand at Walgreens for only 1$. EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE WE WILL USE A MORE EXPENSIVE BRAND LIKE OIL OF OLAY. We do this at least 3 mtimes a week. If you can't do it that often at least apply the mixture after showering. The difference in my skin is phenominal. Also drink plenty of water.

first start with an exfoliat, try using one that you can buy at any dept store. (or make your own: sugar) (use a sponge with a coarse feel) use a product on it to exfoliate the dead skin cells. then use a GOOD moisturizing lotion, I like aveno moisturizing oil or cream. you can also make your own exfoliant using just regular house hold sugar. its called a sugar scrub. just put some on a wet cloth and rub your skin. pay special attention to knees and elbows. you will be surprised how soft it will feel afterwords. then apply your lotion. also Vaseline on heals and feet is good for winter dry skin. hope this helps.
hope this helps;)

loofah and lotion right after you get out of the shower. If your skin is super dry use AmLactin - a somewhat pricey lotion you can buy at the drugstore.
