They both suck - the way you can tell is to add a "C" onto them
Rock = Crock
Rap = Crap

Rock is much better than rap. Rock usually has a different sound every song, and rap always has the same beat. I think I can here it right now.............

I like them both but if I had to pick, I'd pick rock, because I can relate to it more than most rap songs. & rap isn't just about being a pimp & sex, if people would just look outside of the mainstream rap you'd find that there are different types of rap geesh!

Rock because most of time the lyrics really mean something and it's not just every other video you see on MTV. Each song is different and they all don't just sound the same. I know this sounds kind of corny but each song has at least some real meaning.

Listen to whatever you want neither is better than the other. They are two different genres and sometimes they even overlap in rap/rock style 311 would be an example.
Most hardcore rock fans don't like rap,
Most hardcore rap fans hate country , and dislike rock.
Most hardcore country fans hate rap.
Right now there seems to be a movement toward mainstreaming punk/alternative rock.You see it reflected in the skull cross bone emblems on clothing, striped patterns, boots, dark hair, dark make-up, skinny jeans. This is the current trend.
Often I listen to whichever I am in...
Rap - angry , horny , feel like dancing
Rock - angry, rebellious, political, self righteous
The newer main stream rock is more mellow than the older stuff-
New / alternative rock - contemplative mood

Rock music is definitely better than
RAP crap.
Rock music can deal with people's feelings or social issues. No age warning label was ever needed.
RAP music degrades females, promotes violence, and uses overall filthy language to get their pointless message across.

Rock is inclusive and usually never incites radical behavior and racial slurs. However, rap is leftist radical propaganda that incites hate and is extremely biased. The colored people really need to clean up this type of junk; it is something that destroys society.

I like very few rap songs and dislike very few rock songs. Sometimes there are crossover or hybrids of the two which I like.
