The Gourami will not attempt to eat any fish larger than his mouth, especially a catfish with barbs.
Good luck!

I have a Dwarf Blue Gourami and a Glas Catfish and they do just fine together! The catfish stays up towards the top of the tank and the Gourami generally stays towards the bottom!

Hi! They should be fine together! They are both peaceful tropical fish that will get along perfectly fine Good luck! And I don't think that the Gourami will eat the catfish because the catfish knows how to escape situations like this one! Have fun!

Shouldn't be any problem at all assuming they are near the same size.
