I lost my cell phone a week ago getting something from a friend right after my parents left(im not supposed to hang out with him and my dad doesnt know his number). He texted me and called me and I had also called him earlier in the week a couple times. I told my dad i hadnt used my cellphone for a day or 2 and when he called cellular one to see if my cell phone had been used he got my friends number and i said that i didnt know who it was. So he thinks my friend stole my cellphone and used it and has been calling his number(i told my friend not to pick up). So i got my new cellphone today and when we were there the people said that we should wait for our bill to come and see the numbers dialed after it was stolen, and i said that i didnt know whos number that is, and more than likely my dad will see that i called it earlier in the week....HELP

Oh what a tangled web we weave ; )
Just be honest with your Dad. Let him know that you know that you went against his wishes, and that you're sorry for doing so. Just tell him you were afraid to tell him, because of that. He may be disappointed, but in the long run, he will appreciate that you were honest and owned up to it. Best of luck.......

Make a rule for yourself to always tell the truth. I will assume that your parents have a reason for making a rule that you're not supposed to be hanging out with him. If you like this guy, don't you think you will do him more of a favor by telling the truth now instead of having your family forever believe that he's a thief -- and maybe even calling the police? It is hard when you lie yourself into the corner, but life is nothing with ethics, and you are totally worth it to clean up the mistake you made. Tell the truth. It won't be fun, but you know that's the right thing to do.

What? I have no idea what you are saying. Just tell your dad the truth. Not only will you not have to worry about lies on top of lies, you will also look more responsible and mature and that will help you out with your parents in the long run.

Time to come clean - tell your dad what you did so someone else doesn't get into a legal hassle over it.
