Check the hose connecting the facet to the washer. It may be clogged. Next look at the connection on the washer. It may have a very fine mesh sediment screen that is clogged with dirt.. It pries off. If it is clogged clean it with a toothbrush in warm soapy water and replace. if you have full water flow into the washer then it's probably the solenoid. Are you sure your water pipe is not frozen?

This could be an easy fix. Look behind your machine, and you will find two hoses connected to your wash machine. One is the cold and the other is the hot.
There are valves on the wall where the hoses connect. Turn off the valves. Next, unscrew the cold water (it will be marked) hose connection where it is screwed on to your wash machine. There is a filter type screen either inside the hose connection, or the connection on the washer. Check to see if this screen/filter is clogged with "stuff". Remove the screen, clean it, reassemble the hose, and turn on the cold water. Hopefully, this will take care of your problem.
If this doesn't do it, you probably have a faulty solenoid inside your washer. This is a job for a serviceman, unless you are handy with electrical problems.

If your machine is finishing the wash cycle. ie wash/rinse/spin then you have no need to worry. Its probably the ambient temperature being so low at the moment that your boiler cannot heat it quickly enough for the machine to take hot water. Your machine has an internal heater, which heats the water to the correct temperature. The machine uses the internal heater regardless. This is for accuracy and of course safety. If the heater was faulty the machine would not get to the correct temperature. If the correct temperature is not reached within a certain timescale then most modern machines will display an error code. Older machines will just wash continuously because the thermostat will not have triggered the next part of the cycle. Sorry for the long winded answer, but my advice: wait until the weather warms up.

it sounds like the solenoid has gone out. There is an electrical switch where the hot and cold water hoses connect at the back of the machine. The solenoid is in-fact the plastic piece that the hoses connect to.
These control whether the washing machine allows cold, hot or a combination of the two into the tub.
You can get a replacement for this and replace it yourself if you are handy.
Google "(your washing machine brand) and solenoid"
Good luck

check your water spigot in your house make sure all of them are on that are suppose to be on. if that is good then check your water pump on the back of the washer. see if it plugged up. if it too is working then call an appliance repair person and ask them. it might be easier that way than to just guess.

The solenoid isn't working. There is a separate one for the hot water.
