I'd have to agree with the answer above. The system is awesome. Out of the box you can surf the net in wifi, play games and store them on it's 60gig hard drive, watch 1080 hd blue ray disks, you can hook up a 160gig external drive filled with mp3's and have it play and shuffle music. You can do just about anything on it. You can even load a seperate operating system (lynix) to program and play your on own home brew games.
The only failure Sony had was in distribution and marketing. If more units were on the shelf before christmas, so many so that ebayers couldn't snatch them and jack the prices up on ebay Then they would have easily out sold all the systems. Sony does it right, everything is on the systemno need to keep purchasing extras. Even their online resources,downloads, game demos and online gaming are free to the owners.

C'mon that's ain't THAT undesirable. Bowling and pool are certainly relaxing. I agree there is no longer plenty to do however, and the dumbest circulate they ever made is determining to purchase outfits with genuine money, besides the undeniable fact that that's mushy. yet nonetheless I hate the shortcoming of clothing and the uninteresting place of residing. they might desire to make trophies form of like the money. and what's with the classified ads. the television interior the mall is cool yet WHY THE HECK have they have been given twilight posters!!! Plus no person desires the controller keyboard. you will get an greater common to apply usb keyboard for 15 dollars.

It's not that it's a disapointment, it's just that it has flaws. The 360 had flaws and it turned out fine. But...Sony could've found another design, or way of making and reducing the cost of making the PS3. Otherwise, give a couple of months and they'll be just fine.

It will not be disappointment if they just release a remake of FFVII with those kick @$$ graphics in the demo they showed at E3! I wouldn't care if the PS3 costs $600, I'm still going to get it just for FFVII!!!!

it is a little right now because there isn't any good games for it yet. but i think within a couple of months you are going to start seeing really good games for the system. just be a little patient that's all
