I know if you keep your eyes open, staring, your vision does go black and blurry around the edges. Things in the your scope change shape. I have never held my eyes open for so long the whole lot turns black.

Blinking is a natural body function to keep the eyes moist.

Why would you want to damage your eyesight?

No, I did not know that. And I dont think I want to try it. Did you know that if you keep your eyes open while you sneeze your eyes will pop out? That is what I heard.
