I would have said sure, as long as he didn't rely on me for anything (furniture, food, etc.).

Kinda spooky. I probably would have wanted some more information on him took some time to look it up and also investigate other places that he might be a nice fit for and inquire as to why he didn't try them. He could simply want a place to stay but there are so many wierdo's our here. You may find yourself and your shed on 20/20 as the place where he hides kids/young girls, etc.

ugh you dont KNOW this guy?? If not them kick him to the curb. Why in the world would someone want to live in a shed 4 400 a month???? Daym Cali apartments must be hella expensive

assuming this shed has no indoor plumbing, where is he going to go when he has to poo in the middle of the night? seems to me u are giving up some privacy by having this guy around your place. also, this is probably illegal and you could get in trouble with city hall. therefore, I would have said no.

well you now have a legal obligation to improve that shed to a liveable condition which means your needing to let him into your house or spend a lot of money upgrading the shed with a bathroom
