what would i need to do to get into truck drving

you would have to go to a truck driving school there are plenty of them around but choose a large school that has been around for a while. There are allot of fly by nite schools out there. So be sure to check out any schools credentials. After you finish the course you then go to your local driving centre and take the test. When you pass the test you are on your way. Most schools offer employment opportunities to there well trained drivers.Trucking company recruit at driving schools.

The best thing to do would be to enroll in a truck driving school. They will help you get your CDL drivers license. (commercial drivers license)
They will show you all about the truck, engine and other things.
You'll be in the classroom part of the time, then in the truck other times practicing turning, parking, backing up.. and anything else you need.
Then at the end if and when you graduate, they have representatives from different trucking companies sort of like a job fair.
Most all will get hired after you pass the course.
and of course it really helps if you enjoy driving long distances.
