you're kidding, right

Dale is fine....June is a girl's name and June bug is ridiculous...Don't name your child that if you don't want them to be made fun of.

Junebug Sounds like a Character's name from a child's book. But the name Dale is a very good name for a boy.

Well Dale is good! June bug however isn't I like Dale Junior It has the redneck part covered The June thing covered to and he won't have to kick the *** of every school yard bully. There is a lesson here from a Johny Cash song.

Mmmm....no, sorry, not my cup of tea.

I like Dale, but not crazy about Junebug, especially for a boy. Strikes me as more of a girly nickname.

How about:
Dale James
Dale Jason
Dale Jackson
Dale Jefferson
Dale Jeremy
Dale Jonathan
Dale Joshua
Dale Julian

Dale is an okay name and I think Junebug is cute-for a nickname but not a middle name.

I think you've watched the movie "Junebug" a time too many.

I don't mean to be snotty or anything, but you need to think about how your child is going to feel when he becomes aware of his name.

Have you ever seen the Dick Van Dyke episode when Richie finds out his middle name is Rosebud? The poor kid was flipping out! Granted there was a reason Rosebud was his middle name and if that's the reason why you want your child's middle name to be Junebug, then hey, go for it. It's your child and really who cares what anyone else thinks.

Umm - seriously?? Junebug? Is there a family tradition behind it or something? I can't imagine just wanting to name your son Junebug for the heck of it...But if it's a family tradition - I guess if you feel very strongly about keeping with the family go for it. But if you don't feel strongly about it, don't subject your son to the criticism that he's going to receive over that name.

Dale is ok but come on give the kid a break change the middle name. How about Dale Thomas, Dale Robert, or Dale Steven?

Junebug.. would be a great Nickname. But as part of the real name.. uhh no. That is rather strange.

I guess it really depends on how much you actually hate your son. Heck, why don't you just make his first name "Junebug" and give him a girls middle name? What do you think of Junebug Marie?

I really hope you were joking.

Junebug??? That is unique, but i doubt that he would like it that much. I would name him Dale James if i were you, so he would at least keep the same initials.
