How Can we love God so much but we work hard all our lives at any cost to gain the things of the world? People will do whatever it takes to make money and I just wanted to know why our world is so set on greed. Men rather kill their body with work and stress, to please themselves on earth but we never think about eternal happiness.

We all have had doubts. I am a Christian who used to have doubts If you owed someone a debt and you didn't make any effort to pay you would you expect them cut you some slack when it came time to pay up? No Were on this planet and given a little time in a fragile existence. God gave us his son as a sacrifice, meaning to come to earth in human form live and die an innocent man. None of us can say this that we have never sinned. He laid it out there an opening for forgiveness an entire life time but we better figure we could go at any point. Did you know the angels in heaven are envious of men/women. We have free will and get to live on this earth a while. We have it good on this earth in some ways that even the angels envy. We should put God first. However, the richer I am, the more good I can do in the world. God wants us to prosper for this reason.
I do not work for the worldly goods as an end in themselves, since I can't take them with me. But when was the last time the average poor person founded a hospital, for instance?

Love god of course. However, God understands that we have obligations like kids, family, transertation ex. But I do think you have a point. With all these songs on the radio abt big rims and fast women I wonder if the next generation will even hold a relationship with God as a priorty. All we can do is pray...

Maybe we should just love and enjoy life and stop trying to aynalise it? Do what makes you happy, live moement to moment, do whatever you want. (and in case anyone takes issuse with this, do whatever you want, because happy people don't feel the need to hurt others, so doing what makes you happy is good for everyone)x

I agree. I feel as though everyone is trying to keep up with the Joneses. Its so sad to see how people are so set on making so much down here. Are these people going to even make it up to heaven with these "things" being put first?

i dont realy know. i guess we want to survive, and to do that, we need to afford food, shelter, and family. juggling all of those together isnt as easy as youd think. not to many people think a god exists, and so they work away there own life until theres nothing left.
